Rahshi

/

Rahshi Bell (Rahshi or Rah on the stage and in his rhymes) was born and raised in Brotmanville, NJ which is a town directly in between Philadelphia and Atlantic City. He grew up an only child so the kids in
his neighborhood become his brothers.
Growing up in the arguably the best times for hip hop and rap in the late 80s and 90s his biggest influences were Jersey's own Redman, Capone and Norega, Nas, and Bad Boy Records.
He learned everything he knew about the streets and music from his cousin "Gotti" which is his record label's "Gotti World Records" name sake. Stating "He paid for my first studio time and he
knew everybody".
Rahshi co-owns a recording studio with his long time business partner Wil Garner "300" at 718 E Landis Avenue in Vineland, NJ. It's a rather large studio with a lounge and 2 recording areas with soundproof
booths. "The Fishbowl" booth is reserved for members of Gotti World Records.
Rahshi rap style is reminiscent of the 90s era hip hop with sharp attacks and metaphors, delivered smoothly over R&B samples or a boom bap beat.
